Cuzzocrea: "We will work hard for the Subbuteo"

We publish the letter that Fisct's president Maurizio Cuzzocrea has written to the Fistf's board and the associated countries

Dear friends,

I am pleased to write this letter as the new president of the Fisct. This is a very important task, which I will carry on with the awareness that Italy's role in the table soccer world is a role of responsibility. This responsibility is due both to the high number of members and champions, and to the organizational level that our national federation has reached. I want to tell you that in Italy you will always find a friend nation, which is willing to work for the standing growth of Fistf.

It will be a pleasure to bring our national teams to play the World Cup in Belgium next September, as it has been an honor to have you in Italy for the World Cup in 2015. Having many clubs and many members does not mean that our association is better than others but that in Italy the right conditions for the development of table soccer have been created and such conditions can be created in other nations too.

For this reason we will always be at the side of those who work hard to organize important quality events, in compliance with the rules and with the good sportsmanship. There's hard work to do together if we want Fistf to grow worldwide and this growth must concern both "numbers" and quality.

I will not hide that our goal is always to win but it is even better if we face correct and competitive opponents who can challenge us in exciting matches...until the last goal.

I am sure that we will have fun together.
